Lalee Photography Blog bio picture

Hi There!

My name is Lauri and I am fun! Or at least I like to think I am. I also like to think I am a stylish person, but every once in a while I tend to come out wearing something heinously wrong - like the Christmas outfit of 2001. Eek! I love to laugh and sometimes the silliest things can just set me off. My family rocks! I'm married to the most amazing boy EVER. I have a dog named Derby and a bunny named Pocono. And I love love love being a photographer.

Welcome to my blog! This is where I'll be posting all the new, totally fun stuff I'm working on, with little sprinklings of random thoughts and personal stuff. Have some fun looking around!

If you would like more information, please feel free to email me directly at lauri@laleephotography.com or contact me through my website. I can't wait to hear from you!

Lauren & Tim (preview) | Bethlehem Engagement Photographer

Two days ago I got up bright and early to meet up with Lauren and Tim to shoot their morning engagement session around downtown Bethlehem. The weather was perfect and I had so much fun exploring tons of fun new areas with these two. We saved a few spots for photos on their wedding day when they get married at the Banana Factory and I SO can’t wait!! Here is just a little sneak peek from the other day! Untitled-1BLOG
Now I’m off to shoot a fabulous wedding! Happy Saturday!!

Rebecca & Ed | Downingtown Country Club Wedding Photographer

I don’t think I’ve had a bride who has been more excited for her wedding day than Rebecca. Everyone could see just how much she was looking forward to marrying Ed the second the church doors opened and she saw him at the end of the aisle. She could barely hold back her tears in that moment and it was the sweetest thing ever. Their whole day was a mixture of excitement and happy tears and I’m so glad I was there to photograph it.

Rebecca and Ed had an absolutely gorgeous wedding day at Downingtown Country Club. The whole day was beautifully planned by the amazing Angela Malacki of Angela Malacki Events, and it was just perfect. Here are a few of my favorites from their day!REBLOG1reBLOG2How beautiful is Rebecca?!reBLOG3reBLOG4reBLOG5Rebecca couldn’t help but tear up as Ed recited his vows.reBLOG6reBLOG7reBLOG8We then took some time to stroll the grounds of the country club for photos.reBLOG9reBLOG10reBLOG11reBLOG12reBLOG13reBLOG14reBLOG15reBLOG16Check out the groom’s cake on the right! Amy & Bryan | Philadelphia Engagement Photographer

When Amy contacted me to photograph her wedding this October I was super extra excited! It’s always so much fun photographing such an important day in someone’s life when you have that extra connection to them and their families. Amy is an old friend of mine from elementary school and we were even in Girl Scouts together! Our moms have kept in touch over the years because they were both super involved, awesome moms, so I’ve always gotten the updates on how Amy is doing through my mom. And now I get to photograph her wedding and I can’t wait!

The day we met up for their engagement session was the first time I met Bryan, and he and Amy couldn’t be more cute together. Bryan was a total trooper and even got in some gardens for me which always makes me happy! They brought their dog Ribby to the session for a couple of shots at the very beginning, and even though he was not so interested in me or my camera, I love this first one! _MG_0394baBLOG_MG_0606baBLOG_MG_0841baBLOG_MG_0875babwBLOG_MG_0934baBLOG_MG_0947baBLOG_MG_0960baBLOGUntitled-1BLOG_MG_1043baBLOG_MG_1153baBLOG_MG_1198baBLOGUntitled-2BLOG

Jen & Matt | Old York Road Country Club Wedding Photographer

Even though their wedding day was the first time I met them in person, I immediately felt like I had known Jen and Matt all my life. They are both so warm and sweet, they are such a perfect match for one another. I started out the day with the girls and found Jen to be quite possibly the most calm bride EVER. She was just so happy and relaxed! It really set the tone for the whole day and I loved every minute of it! Here are a few of my favorites from Jen and Matt’s gorgeous wedding day at Old York Road Country Club, starting with Jen’s amazing bouquet. _MG_0658jmBLOG_MG_0967jmBLOGUntitled-1BLOGBWThe sun peeked out for just a few minutes before we headed over to Corpus Christi Church for the ceremony.Untitled-3BLOGIt was a pretty gusty day, and I love this photo of Jen’s dad helping her into the church before she blows away!_MG_1210jmBLOG_MG_1595jmBLOG_MG_1635jmBLOG_MG_1780jmBLOGI loved their bridal party! I have the best clients!

It’s true! I really do. I get so emotionally invested in my clients, that usually by their wedding day I’m brought to tears at least four or five times. I can’t help it! I manage to hold it together and keep on shooting, but sheesh, sometimes it’s hard! haha!

A little package arrived in the mail from my amazing clients Jen and Matt recently and I just had to blog about it because it is the sweetest thing ever. They wrote me the kindest thank you note and sent it along with this ADORABLE little sundress and hat for our little babe on the way to thank me for shooting their wedding. (I also must mention that there was also a bag of Sour Patch Kids in the package, but they were not available for photographs because they were gone in about 20 minutes. Haha!) When I opened the package I was just speechless and so moved by what a sweet and thoughtful gift they sent me when I just feel so lucky to have them as my clients. They are quite possibly two of the kindest people I have ever met, and the fact that so soon after their wedding they thanked me in such a completely thoughtful way just blows my mind. Jen and Matt, you two are beyond amazing and I thank you SO much!!

How cute is this little outfit?!Untitled-1BLOG Btw, I have to say I LOVE babies in hats and Finley will be wearing a hat ALL THE TIME. Love it!

Have a wonderful holiday weekend everyone! After the wedding I’m second shooting tomorrow I’ll be spending mine down the shore for family reunion weekend! YAY! Happy Friday!!
