Happy Halloween!!

Most little girls want to be princesses or fairies for Halloween (at least I always did!), but not my niece Lucy. She is obsessed with robots, so she just HAD to be one for Halloween. A purple, pink and gold robot of course, but a robot all the same. She’s awesome like that. LucyBlog_1

Aniela – Perkasie Portrait Photography

Today I met up with Leah and her adorable daughter Aniela for our super fun mini photoshoot! Since it kept raining every day we would schedule the shoot, we decided to just embrace the rain today and do a mini shoot, and then do a nice sunshine-y shoot this Saturday. All day I watched the downpour out the window and felt happy with all the puddles that were forming. Yay puddles! So when it came time to do our shoot and the sun made a surprise visit, I felt sad that my rainy day vision was ruined. Boo sun! Aniela and her cuteness made up for it though. She is seriously adorable, I wanted to take her home with me and keep her as my own forever and ever. I kid! haha. Here are a few favs from today! Kristi & Dave | Bear Creek Mountain Resort Wedding Photography

Kristi and Dave had an absolutely beautiful wedding day at Bear Creek Mountain Resort in Macungie, PA. I love these two. They are one of the most fun and easy going couples I have ever met. Seriously. After the engagement session I just knew their wedding was going to be such a blast. I always get really attached to my couples and usually get teary-eyed at least once during their wedding, but for some reason I was tearing up like crazy all during Kristi and Dave’s wedding day! They are just so sweet together and the love surrounding them was so amazing, my eye-makeup was completely gone by the end of the day. It’s couples like these two that make me absolutely love what I do. Here are a few of my favorites from their fabulous wedding day, starting with Kristi’s HOT shoes. 1BlogKristiDave_11BlogKristiDave_3I love this moment between Kristi and her mom.1BlogKristiDave_201BlogKristiDave_4The sweetest little flowergirl ever.1KristiDaveBlog_191BlogKristiDave_51BlogKristiDave_6bw1BlogKristiDave_71BlogKristiDave_81BlogKristiDave_91BlogKristiDave_111BlogKristiDave_101BlogKristiDave_121BlogKristiDave_13A few reception details. It was one of the most touching moments I have ever seen.1BlogKristiDave_18Some of the best partying and dancing I’ve seen at a reception!1BlogKristiDave_22Kristi and Dave, I can’t thank you enough for sharing your day with me! You two are the best and I wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Shoot Swap with the Meyers Family

Yesterday Mikey and I drove to Chambersburg, PA to meet up with the Meyers family for some photoshoot fun! Heather Meyers of Heather Meyers Photography is an absolutely amazing photographer whose work I came across a couple of years ago. We began emailing back and forth and kept trying to make plans to get together, but between Mikey’s and my wedding and Heather and Jacob having their baby Asher, we just could not seem to find the time….until yesterday! Yay!!
I was so excited and SO nervous to meet up with Heather for our shoot swap day! Nothing is more nerve-wracking than having to take photos for a fellow photog, but Heather is soooo sweet I immediately felt at ease! We spent 5 hours wandering the grounds of an old papermill, chit-chatting about photography and getting really excited about all the super fun locations at the mill. Mikey, Jacob and Asher (the boys) were such troopers and totally indulged our excitedness. I think Heather and I could have seriously shot photos of each other all day long, but towards the end of the fifth hour we figured it was time to call it a day and get some food!
Here is just a little peak of a couple of shots I took yesterday (more to come!). Heather has some absolutely amazing things planned for her photography and I’m so excited for her! Here she is looking fabulous (& I adored her boots!).Untitled-1BLOGAnd here is one of the entire Meyers family! How cute are they?? Asher’s smile just melts my heart._MG_6741hmBLOGHeather, Jacob and Asher, thank you so so much for yesterday! Mikey and I adore you guys and had so much fun!!
