Liz & Andrew – Franklin Square Engagement Photography (preview)

Tonight I met up with Liz and Andrew in Franklin Square right in Philadelphia to shoot their engagement session! Due to crazy traffic we had to start the session a little later than planned, and raced against the light to get some fabulous images, but it just made it that much more fun! This is one of the last images I took from their session and one of my favs. How cute are they?? More to come soon!_MG_9834LAblog

Adventures in “cooking”

So today as I was getting ready to head out to a shoot, I did my mental checklist. Batteries charged – check. Equipment ready – check. Derby walked – check. Dinner cooked for Mikey – check. And then I paused. And laughed. Because even though I was proud of the dinner I “cooked” for Mikey, I know deep down that my mother would be horrified. No stoves were turned on, no corningware was used, no water was boiled. But that’s OK, right? I mean, I cut up the apple! That should so count for something.

So I took a picture because even though I’ll never be as good a “cook” as my mom, I’m still proud! Look at the presentation!! Peanut butter and jelly never looked so good.

Happy Wednesday!

Nicole & Jason – PA Renaissance Faire

On Sunday I met up with Nicole and Jason at the PA Renaissance Faire to shoot their engagement session! I hadn’t been to the Faire in years, and I had forgotten what a blast it is. Plus, it’s where Nicole and Jason got engaged, on the kissing bridge, so it was perfect for them! The best part was all the actors dressed up in Renaissance garb who kept heckling Nicole and Jason about all the kissing and hugging. haha. One even teased me that I didn’t need to be the lonely one who just takes the pictures anymore. He could be my man. It was hilarious! Here is just a little preview!

Katie & Jeff – Long Beach Island Wedding Photography

I know I’m on vacation and I said I wouldn’t be blogging but yesterday I shot Katie & Jeff’s fabulous wedding here on Long Beach Island and I just had to post a preview. It was one of the most fun weddings ever and I had so much fun photographing their day! As soon as I took this photo I knew it was going to be my favorite so I decided to post it as a little sneak peek!

Yay Katie and Jeff!!

Today is my and Mikey’s 1 year wedding anniversary! I can’t believe how fast this year flew by. It’s been so amazing. In one year’s time we got married, moved in together, bought a house and got a puppy. Such a whirlwind but soooo much fun! Later today we are going to attempt to eat the frozen top of our cake (might be gross! haha!) and have champagne on the beach as we watch the sunset. Yay us!

Have a great week!!
