Ashley and Riley Dog

One of the perks of visiting my cousin Ashley is getting to spend time with Riley dog! Riley is the sweetest dog ever and such a gentle giant, I love him. The other day Ashley and I took Riley out to the park and I brought along my camera for fun. Here are a couple of shots from our freezing cold afternoon!

This last picture cracks me up. Riley is exceptionally strong and came running at us with a tree branch instead of a stick like most dogs. He wanted us to play with him sooo badly but we had to get out of his way really quickly when he went running by with it for fear of getting wacked!

Anca Pe’elma

A few months ago, I collaborated with my sister Andrea to create some images for her gorgeous bridal headpiece and accessory company, Anca Pe’elma. Each of the headpieces she creates is truly unique and they are all handmade with such precise attention to detail. She has so many absolutely beautiful designs that you can see through her website, ancapeelma.com, and her Etsy site that you can get to by clicking here. (Her website is still under contruction but don’t hesitate to contact her if you see something you are interested in or have any questions!)

She also completely encourages brides to contact her for a custom design – whether it be a headpiece, hair pins or something for the bridesmaids, she’s amazing. Not only did I wear one of her headpieces for my own wedding, but she also made all of my bridesmaid’s jewelry and I whole-heartedly recommend her beautiful work to every single one of my brides!

So without further ado, here are a few images from our shoot.

Kimberly & Alex – Philadelphia Engagement Photography

I went all through Elementary School up through High School with Kimberly and she has always been one of the sweetest people ever. In fifth grade, both of our moms and a bunch of other kid’s moms were the “classroom moms” for the year – planning all of our parties and field trips. The super cute thing is that “The Fifth Grade Moms”, as they call themselves, still get together a couple times a year even though all of us “kids” are all grown up. Go moms!

Kimberly and Alex are so sweet together and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in July! This is only Part One of Kimberly and Alex’s Engagement Session. We had plans to do half of the shoot on Kelly Drive, but the day was so dreary and cold so we decided to save that part for the spring when it will be all beautiful out. So here are a few of my favs from Part One

The goings on and a preview!

February is a CRAZY month, but for all good reasons! Yay!

First and foremost, super exciting news…Mikey and I bought a house! And we are moving in three weeks! Ahh!! It’s a little stressful trying to get everything together in such a short amount of time, but we are SO excited. The house is even coming complete with a pool table, so I’ll be able to practice my non-existent pool shark skillz and school our guests. Woo!

Since we are going to have all this room with a new house and a big backyard, we’ve decided to expand our family – we are going to adopt a puppy! I’m so excited about getting a puppy, I spend all my free time on petfinder.com searching for the perfect one. I love BIG dogs, like Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, Great Danes, Labs, and basically any dog above 60lbs. If you know of any cute little puppies who need a good home, let me know!

Next week I am leaving for WPPI in Vegas!! I’m super excited and can’t wait to meet so many people and go to lots of classes and all of that good stuff. I’m starting out my trip with a quick stop in LA where I am staying with the amazing Cathy Crawley, and visiting with my favorite and most best friend Jean in Pasadena. From there Cathy and I are mini road-tripping it to Vegas where I’ll be meeting up with Katie for some WPPI fun times. I can’t wait! And then as soon as I get back, it will be pack, pack, pack for the move! Yay!

So that’s my fun February. And since no post is complete without an image, here is a sneak peek at my Engagement Shoot with Kimberly and Alex (I’ll be posting the rest later this week!). Happy Monday!
