Lalee Photography Blog bio picture

Hi There!

My name is Lauri and I am fun! Or at least I like to think I am. I also like to think I am a stylish person, but every once in a while I tend to come out wearing something heinously wrong - like the Christmas outfit of 2001. Eek! I love to laugh and sometimes the silliest things can just set me off. My family rocks! I'm married to the most amazing boy EVER. I have a dog named Derby and a bunny named Pocono. And I love love love being a photographer.

Welcome to my blog! This is where I'll be posting all the new, totally fun stuff I'm working on, with little sprinklings of random thoughts and personal stuff. Have some fun looking around!

If you would like more information, please feel free to email me directly at lauri@laleephotography.com or contact me through my website. I can't wait to hear from you!

Amy & Aaron | Central Park, NY Engagement Photographer

Yes, yes, I know, I’m supposed to be on vacation. But I couldn’t help myself! I’ve been meaning to blog Amy and Aaron’s Central Park engagement session for so long and I just couldn’t allow myself to relax until I did. (At least that’s what I told Mikey so he would let me have some computer time today to do work. Shhh! Hehe.)

A few weeks ago I met up with Amy and Aaron in Central Park to shoot their engagement session. I always want couples to pick the locations for their shoots because I want the whole shoot to be very “them”. So when Amy and Aaron told me they would love to shoot their session in Central Park I got really really excited, and really really nervous. Shooting in new locations makes me super happy, but I was nervous since I’ve never been there and had no idea what to expect. Luckily, it was the most perfectly amazing location for their session and I absolutely LOVED shooting there! Plus, Amy and Aaron are just so adorably in love and I had the greatest time spending the afternoon with them. Here are just a few of my favs!_MG_9455aaBLOG_MG_9513aaBLOG_MG_9546aaBLOG_MG_9705aaBLOG_MG_9736aaBLOG_MG_9802aaBLOG_MG_9865aaBLOG_MG_9946aaBLOGUntitled-1BLOG_MG_0063aaBLOG_MG_0280aaBLOGAnd now it’s back to vacation! Happy Saturday!!

I have been looking forward to shooting Amanda and Neal’s wedding since the second I had my first meeting with them. They are just the best couple ever and I completely adore them! I knew shooting their wedding yesterday was going to be a blast, and it SO was!! I had such a hard time selecting just one photo to preview from their day, but managed to narrow it down. More to come soon!_MG_7451anBLOG

Lauren & Tim (preview) | Bethlehem Engagement Photographer

Two days ago I got up bright and early to meet up with Lauren and Tim to shoot their morning engagement session around downtown Bethlehem. The weather was perfect and I had so much fun exploring tons of fun new areas with these two. We saved a few spots for photos on their wedding day when they get married at the Banana Factory and I SO can’t wait!! Here is just a little sneak peek from the other day! Untitled-1BLOG
Now I’m off to shoot a fabulous wedding! Happy Saturday!!

Rebecca & Ed | Downingtown Country Club Wedding Photographer

I don’t think I’ve had a bride who has been more excited for her wedding day than Rebecca. Everyone could see just how much she was looking forward to marrying Ed the second the church doors opened and she saw him at the end of the aisle. She could barely hold back her tears in that moment and it was the sweetest thing ever. Their whole day was a mixture of excitement and happy tears and I’m so glad I was there to photograph it.

Rebecca and Ed had an absolutely gorgeous wedding day at Downingtown Country Club. The whole day was beautifully planned by the amazing Angela Malacki of Angela Malacki Events, and it was just perfect. Here are a few of my favorites from their day!REBLOG1reBLOG2How beautiful is Rebecca?!reBLOG3reBLOG4reBLOG5Rebecca couldn’t help but tear up as Ed recited his vows.reBLOG6reBLOG7reBLOG8We then took some time to stroll the grounds of the country club for photos.reBLOG9reBLOG10reBLOG11reBLOG12reBLOG13reBLOG14reBLOG15reBLOG16Check out the groom’s cake on the right! I loved every minute and wish you both a lifetime of happiness as husband and wife!

Amy & Bryan | Philadelphia Engagement Photographer

When Amy contacted me to photograph her wedding this October I was super extra excited! It’s always so much fun photographing such an important day in someone’s life when you have that extra connection to them and their families. Amy is an old friend of mine from elementary school and we were even in Girl Scouts together! Our moms have kept in touch over the years because they were both super involved, awesome moms, so I’ve always gotten the updates on how Amy is doing through my mom. And now I get to photograph her wedding and I can’t wait!

The day we met up for their engagement session was the first time I met Bryan, and he and Amy couldn’t be more cute together. Bryan was a total trooper and even got in some gardens for me which always makes me happy! They brought their dog Ribby to the session for a couple of shots at the very beginning, and even though he was not so interested in me or my camera, I love this first one! _MG_0394baBLOG_MG_0606baBLOG_MG_0841baBLOG_MG_0875babwBLOG_MG_0934baBLOG_MG_0947baBLOG_MG_0960baBLOGUntitled-1BLOG_MG_1043baBLOG_MG_1153baBLOG_MG_1198baBLOGUntitled-2BLOG
